The company will start from native China

Huawei introduced its own HarmonyOS operating system last year. Apparently, soon the OS will significantly expand its scope and compete with Windows in the personal computer market.

According to the well-established Chinese informant on the Weibo social network, the company plans to soon release HarmonyOS 2.0 for personal computers and PCs based on it. Huawei will start from its native Chinese market.

This is in line with Huawei’s earlier plan, which talked about the release of HarmonyOS 2.0 in 2020 for a wide range of devices, including smartwatches and bracelets, car systems, and computers.

Huawei already sells its own Kunpeng computer solutions for enterprises, which include a motherboard and a Kunpeng chipset.
