Huawei has ended support for two-year flagships Huawei Mate 20

The Mate 20 ( Review ), Mate 20 Pro ( Review ), Mate 20 RS, and Mate 20 X models have disappeared from the lists of smartphones receiving planned EMUI security updates, both on a monthly and quarterly basis. Only the Huawei Mate 20 X 5G and Mate 20 Lite remained on the security update lists.

Last year, around the same time, the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro was removed from the update lists. Thus, the end of support for the Huawei Mate 20 series after a year looks quite natural.

The Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, and Mate 20 X smartphones debuted at the end of 2018. Thus, they received two planned major OS updates, receiving Android 10. But these smartphones should not count on Android 11 anymore.
