Market research agency TechInsights has published a report on the analysis of the smartphone market in China for the third quarter of 2023. Data shows that smartphone shipments in China fell 5% year-on-year in the quarter.

The agency analyzed that the continued decline in supplies was due to factors including weak consumer demand and an uncertain economic outlook. However, the rate of decline stabilized during the quarter, indicating that the market is bottoming out. The Chinese market is expected to begin its recovery path in the coming quarters.
