Huawei is preparing two compact laptops MateBook on chips Intel Tiger Lake

According to the latest reports, the Chinese company Huawei is about to unveil new laptops soon. It will reportedly be two high-end models. Although Huawei’s position in the smartphone market has been significantly shaken by US sanctions, the latter has not affected the company’s PC capabilities in any way. Therefore, in the past few months, Huawei has made additional efforts in the PC market.

At the moment, there is not much information on the upcoming MateBook models. It is reported that mobile computers will use a design similar to the current MateBook 13/14 series. In addition, components are expected to be upgraded to 11th Gen Intel Core processors and entry-level NVIDIA GeForce MX 450 discrete graphics.

The company also continues to develop its own desktop app store. Huawei launched AppGallery on PC late last month. It has five main sections: “Overview”, “Office”, “Systematization”, “Management” and “Settings”. In addition, there are subsections like “Required to install”, “New products of the week”, “Select the month”, “Effective work”, “Video entertainment”, “Design zone” and so on.

Currently, the Microsoft Store is not particularly developed: users install most of the software from the outside. Some aspiring PC owners accidentally open fake links and install malware. Perhaps Huawei will be able to create a richer and more versatile platform for finding and installing software?
