Bruce Lee noted that the Mate 40 Pro supports two different color modes, standard and vivid, in the system settings. Standard Mode is very different from previous products. In the new standard mode, the “display system does full color management”, not only supports the sRGB color gamut.
The system will automatically detect which standard format the source or application is using. Whether it’s sRGB, P3, or HDR (Rec. 2020 color gamut), the device will use gamut mapping and other algorithms to automatically adapt to screen gamut.
Bruce Lee also claims that in terms of spectral design, the screen of the Mate 40 smartphones targets the blue light source. It provides better eye protection. In addition, a flicker protection switch is available to users across the entire brightness range.
