Huawei Mate X2 specifications leaked online after certification in China
The technical characteristics of the new flexible smartphone Huawei Mate X2 have appeared on the Internet after being certified by the Chinese regulator TENAA. They were posted on the Weibo social network by one of the Chinese specialists. There is no official confirmation yet.
According to the leak, the engineering sample of the Mate X2 will weigh 295 grams and measure 161.8 x 145.8 x 8.2 mm. He will receive an internal screen with a diagonal of 8.01 inches and an external display measuring 6.45 inches. The first one will receive a resolution of 2480 × 2220 pixels, and the second one – 2700 × 1160.
In addition, the device will be equipped with five cameras. A 16-megapixel camera will be installed in front. The rear panel will house four photosensors: the main 50 Mp and three additional ones – 16 Mp, 12 Mp and 8 Mp. The rear cameras are expected to support 10x optical zoom.
The Kirin 9000 processor will be responsible for the performance. The smartphone will receive a 4400 mAh battery, which will support 65 W fast charging. It will ship with Android 10 operating system.
Presumably, the device will be the successor to the Huawei Mate Xs, which was presented in February 2020. As PLAYFULDROID points out, receiving TENAA certification could hint at the device’s imminent launch.
