The physical size of the sensor will be larger than previously released 50-megapixel sensors
A well-known insider under the nickname Digital Chat Station has published exclusive details about the new flagship camera phone Huawei P60.
He stated that the main camera will have a resolution of 50 megapixels, but the physical size of the matrix will be larger than previously released 50-megapixel sensors. He added that the Huawei P60 will use Sony IMX7 and Sony IMX8 series sensors, with the latter sensor appearing in the Huawei P60 for the first time.
Judging by previously published renders , the design of the Huawei P60 camera module has undergone major changes. The camera block has become rectangular with a ring inside, which will make the smartphone well recognizable.
It is expected that Huawei P60 will receive a flagship camera system and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 single-chip system, which at the same time will be deprived of a modem for working in fifth-generation networks. The presentation of the new line is expected in 2023.
