Huawei has begun to prepare for the launch of the next major upgrade to its proprietary EMUI 11 shell.

The manufacturer has updated the Huawei Member app for Chinese users and the upcoming EMUI 11 is mentioned among the list of changes. As the accompanying description says, the update adds “optimizations for EMUI 11 styles” to Huawei Members.
EMUI 11 is based on the Android 11 operating system, which is still only being tested by Google. Huawei is expected to release a new shell along with the Huawei Mate 40 series smartphones.
According to the source, most likely beta testing of EMUI 11 will begin earlier than last year. Among the first devices approved for testing should be the Huawei P40 series.
