Huawei will release a smartphone Mate 40E on the proprietary platform Kirin 990E

The Chinese giant Huawei, according to network sources, may soon add another model to the Mate 40 family of smartphones. Information about the device with the code designation OCE-AN00 appeared on the websites of the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) and the China Telecommunications Equipment Certification Authority (TENAA).

The series now includes the basic version of the Mate 40 (in the first image), modifications to the Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro +, as well as the Mate 40 RS Porsche Edition. The forthcoming version may receive the commercial name Mate 40E.

It is alleged that the new items will be based on the proprietary Kirin 990E processor. It combines two Cortex-A76 cores with a clock speed of up to 2.86 GHz, two more Cortex-A76 cores with a frequency of 2.36 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of 1.95 GHz. There is an accelerator Mali-G76.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.5-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2376 × 1080 pixels (Full HD +), a 13-megapixel front camera (installed in a hole in the display) and a triple main camera in a configuration of 50 + 16 + 8 million pixels. A fingerprint scanner is built into the screen area.

The amount of RAM can be 6, 8 or 12 GB, the capacity of a flash drive is 128, 256 or 512 GB. Power will be provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4100 mAh. An infrared transceiver and asymmetrical USB Type-C port are mentioned.
