Now, according to a report by Science and Technology Innovation Express-News, the Chinese giant is ready to launch a second version of the operating system, called HarmonyOS 2.0. The new version should work on computers, smartwatches, and even cars.
A couple of months ago it was reported that Huawei is ready to enter the PC market with products built on its own HiSilicon Kunpeng processors. It was also reported that Huawei’s PCs will be running HarmonyOS 2.0.
Recently, Huawei has filed several applications for the use of the brands HarmonyOS, HarmonyOS Connected, HarmonyOS Linked. It also indicates that the company is expanding the compatibility of the operating system with various devices.
The Chinese giant promotes its HarmonyOS as “a single OS that spans and works with all types of products,” while the manufacturer claims that HarmonyOS is safe and secure.
The source claims that HarmonyOS 2.0 can be announced as early as September this year. harmony is expected to eventually replace the Android operating system on Huawei and Honor smartphones.
