Hyundai and Kia confirm negotiations over Apple Car EV production have ended
Hyundai Motor confirmed last month that the company is in talks with Apple to create an uncrewed electric vehicle called the Apple Car.

Apple and Hyundai / KIA were expected to sign a cooperation agreement on February 27. The former will invest $ 3.5 billion to begin producing its electric vehicles at the KIA plant in Georgia.
Over the weekend, reports emerged that Apple was indeed in talks with Hyundai and Kia Motors to create an electric car. Still, after the information leaked, all communication between the companies ceased. Now it has been officially confirmed.
Hyundai and Kia have confirmed that negotiations regarding the production of the Apple Car electric vehicle have ended. Hyundai and Kia also said they had received requests from various companies to develop self-driving electric vehicles. Still, no decision was made as the dialogues were in the early stages and had not moved positively.
Although Hyundai and Kia’s negotiations ended without a deal, Apple’s communication with other companies is still unknown. Apple is believed to be in talks with six, including Japanese automakers, whose shares rallied amid the rumors.
