The main part of the video was taken up by completing one of the game missions on the farm. The authors showed several cut-scenes and shootouts with enemies.

According to Blackman, many of the studio’s veterans who created it in 2002 worked on the remake of the original Mafia. The developers have introduced modern technologies into the game that have appeared since the release of the project. The updated graphics, sound, lighting and other components. In addition, the authors used motion capture technology to provide realistic facial animation in cutscenes and cut scenes.

The Mafia remake has new scenes and dialogues, but according to the developer, the plot has remained very close to the original game. The studio also tried to create the most atmospheric levels typical for the entire franchise.

Apparently IGN posted a gameplay demo ahead of time. Recall that the presentation on the game is scheduled for the evening of July 22 (18:00), but on the night of July 21-22, a video with a similar duration was leaked to the Network. Whether the leaked video matches the available video is unclear. The YouTube administration has already blocked the published videos.

The release of  Mafia: Definitive Edition is scheduled for September 25th. The game will be released on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Later, the game will appear in the Epic Games Store, but the timing has not yet been specified.
