Improved textures, increased detail and HDR: Far Cry 2 gets a major graphics mod

In 2019, an enthusiast under the pseudonym Hunter released Far Cry 2: Redux, which improved many aspects of the game, especially the visual component. And now, based on this mod, a user under the pseudonym Myself has created the Far Cry 2 Modernized project. It improves textures, increases detail, tightens shadows, and so on.

The author of the mod took many other creations, having previously contacted their creators for approval. These include individual fragments of the interface and textures, which have been increased in resolution using a neural network. However, I implemented many innovations on its own: improved the quality of shadows, increased the detail and draw distance of objects, raised the bar for the maximum frame rate to 95 fps, fixed various errors, and made the controls more responsive.

Also, I added custom HDR and depth of field to Far Cry 2 Modernized based on the ReShade filter set. In this way, he tried to emphasize the style of the shooter twelve years ago.
