Portal IGN noted that the studio developer Ghost of Tsushima – Sucker Punch Productions – suddenly needed a narrative writer with a love of feudal Japan.
Recall that the events of Ghost of Tsushima unfold on the territory of the Japanese island of Tsushima during the first Mongol invasion (1274), that is, just within the framework of the above period of history.
According to the job description on the official Sucker Punch Productions website, a potential narrative writer is required to “be willing to write stories in feudal Japan. “
The plot of Ghost of Tsushima itself has already been completed, and the Legends multiplayer mode recently added to the game does not involve a lot of scenario content.
In this regard, it can be assumed that Sucker Punch Productions plans to expand the universe of Ghost of Tsushima: with the help of a full-fledged sequel, an independent or not so much add-on or new content for “Legends”.
There is no doubt that Ghost of Tsushima will surely receive a sequel: within three days of its release, the game set a sales record for Sony’s projects on new intellectual property.
Ghost of Tsushima was released in July this year on PlayStation 4. At the same time, thanks to backward compatibility technology, the samurai action game Sucker Punch Productions will be available on PlayStation 5.
