Inexpensive 5G smartphone Motorola Ibiza showed up in GeekBench with 6 GB of RAM and Android 11

As we already reported, Motorola is preparing for the release of a relatively inexpensive Ibiza smartphone with support for 5G networks. Now this device has appeared in the GeekBench benchmark, which reveals several technical characteristics.

In particular, the use of a Qualcomm processor with eight processing cores was confirmed: their base frequency is indicated in the test – 1.8 GHz. According to rumors, a Snapdragon 480 chip with an Adreno 619 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X51 5G cellular modem are involved.

The novelty carries onboard 6 GB of RAM. The operating system Android 11 is used as the software platform.

The device is credited with an HD + display, a triple camera in a configuration of 48 + 5 + 2 million pixels, a 13-megapixel front camera, and a 5000 mAh battery.

It is reported that the announcement of the Motorola Ibiza model will take place in the current quarter. Besides, Motorola Nio will be released in February-March on the Snapdragon 865 platform. Finally, Motorola Capri and Capri Plus smartphones’ presentation with support for 4G networks is coming.
