The announcement of the Motorola Razr 2 is supposed to take place this year, but sales will begin in 2021.
Ross Young, founder of research companies Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch, claims that the flexible Motorola Razr 2 smartphone is delayed by a quarter. According to him, it is unlikely that he will appear on the market until 2021.
Inexpensive Motorola Razr 2 delayed until 2021
The main reason for the delay is the ongoing pandemic of the coronavirus. It is also expected that the announcement of Motorola Razr 2 will take place this year, but sales will begin in 2021. The manufacturer did the same last year with the first flexible Motorola Razr.
It is expected that the new Motorola Razr 2 will receive an enlarged main screen, which can be protected by ultra-thin glass, like the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 can be a single-chip system, which will be supplemented by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory. The new Razr is expected to receive a Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 image sensor with a resolution of 48 megapixels and a 20-megapixel front camera.
In other words, Razr 2 will support 5G networks but will be a mid-range device.
