Inexpensive smartphone Moto G Play (2021) will receive a Snapdragon 662 processor and a 5000 mAh battery

The Geekbench benchmark has revealed information about Motorola’s new budget smartphone – the Moto G Play (2021), which will hit the market next year. The device will receive a Qualcomm processor and Android 10 operating system.

In particular, the test results indicate the use of the Guamna motherboard. The Snapdragon 662 chip is used, which combines eight Kryo 260 cores with a clock speed of up to 2.0 GHz (base frequency is 1.8 GHz), an Adreno 610 graphics accelerator, and a Snapdragon X11 LTE cellular modem.

The smartphone is endowed with 3 GB of RAM. Modifications with a different amount of RAM, say, 4 GB, will probably also go on sale.

According to rumors, the new product will be equipped with a 6.5-inch display with a hole in the upper left corner for a single front camera. In the back of the case, there will be a triple camera, on the side, there is a fingerprint scanner.

Earlier preparing smartphone flashed in Internet publications under the code XT-2117. Resource OnLeaks has already presented renders of the device, although then it was held under the alleged name Moto G10 Play.

The device is credited with having a 5,000 mAh rechargeable battery with a 20-watt recharge. A USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack are mentioned.
