This is LPDDR5X-7500
In addition to the “striped” processor, Intel showed another unusual CPU. It was a Meteor Lake processor, but not a regular one, but with its DDR5 memory.
More precisely, two Samsung LPDDR5X-7500 DRAM chips with a total capacity of 16 GB were placed on one substrate along with the chipsets of the processor itself.
Intel did “like Apple.” The company showed the Meteor Lake processor with 16 GB of its own RAM
The processor configuration is unknown, and it is unclear whether we will see something similar as a production product. But at least Apple has all its Apple M platforms with their RAM.
Combining RAM with a processor provides several important benefits: increased performance and compactness of such a solution, which is important for mobile PCs. The disadvantage is the most obvious: with this design, it will not work to expand the amount of RAM in a laptop.
