Intel Pledges Xe Graphics News Within 20 Days Then Deletes Tweet

Intel hinted that we might expect more news regarding Xe Graphics soon but then deleted the tweet. Fortunately, the Network remembers everything, so VideoCardz posted a screenshot of this short cryptic post.

In it, the company wrote: “You were waiting. You wondered questions. We keep our promise. Expect more details on the Xe schedule in 20 days. ” Thus, Intel promised to provide more information on the Xe accelerators, but the tweet did not say anything about whether it would be details about mobile graphics or discrete graphics cards.

Intel had previously confirmed the event will be held on September 2. The company is expected to showcase its Tiger Lake mobile processors with integrated Xe graphics. So the tweet could be linked to the Tiger Lake talk ahead of the full launch.

Either way, according to the tweet, Intel should reveal more information about Xe Graphics as early as August 14th. It is not clear what prompted the company to delete the tweet – it may have changed plans. Or it was about an error in automatic publication: the date was already postponed to September, and the robot executed the old program. Or maybe the company is just fueling interest.
