Intel Tiger Lake commercials leaked ahead of launch
Twitter user WalkingCat has posted videos highlighting Intel’s upcoming Tiger Lake architecture. These are marketing materials for the upcoming 11th Gen processor series launch. These commercials were not supposed to have been published prior to the official announcement.
Intel intends to fully unveil its Tiger Lake architecture on September 2. The mobile processor series will offer up to 4 cores and 8 threads at 28W of power consumption. These are energy-efficient solutions codenamed Tiger Lake UP3.
Tiger Lake processors are built to 10nm standards and use next-generation SuperFin transistors, Willow Cove core architecture, and Xe-LP graphics. The frequencies of this series are expected to be much higher than those of the previous generation processors.
In fact, there is even a teaser in one of the videos showing the 4.8GHz clock speed in Turbo mode. Graphics performance is also expected to be significantly better compared to the Ice Lake series. Back in June, Ryan Shrout of Intel demonstrated Battlefield V gameplay at 1080p at high graphics settings at 30fps on an ultra-compact laptop.
Also in the videos, you can notice the active use of the new Intel Tiger Lake logos for Core i7 and Iris Xe Graphics accelerators, which we have already written about earlier.
