According to the results of testing, the iPhone 12 received 73 points (the same result for the quality of recording and playback), losing to the iPhone XS Max (74), Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro (76), Asus ROG Phone 3 (75), Huawei Mate 20 X (75) and Oppo Find X2 Pro (74).

iPhone 12 features dual stereo speakers, dual microphones for background noise cancellation, and Dolby Atmos for 3D spatial effects. The device also supports audio scaling when recording video.

In its review, DxOMark writes that despite the sixth place in the sound rating, the iPhone 12 performed well in all tests. The quality of recording and playback is excellent. Watching movies, playing and listening to music is very convenient, because the speakers are located so that they are rarely covered with your fingers.

The only downside to playing the new iPhone is random resonance and low frequency distortion.
