iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro will get completely different cameras of the same resolution.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max will use a new 48-megapixel camera. Compared to the Sony IMX803 sensor used in the iPhone 14 Pro Max, the main camera on the iPhone 15 Pro Max has been significantly upgraded. It uses a Sony IMX903 sensor with an optical format of about 1 inch.
The new sensor will provide extended dynamic range, increased light sensitivity and noise reduction.
