People continue to buy more expensive models more actively
According to DSCC analysts, sales of iPhone 15 smartphones in October were 16% higher than those of the iPhone 14 line in the same period last year. Compared to the iPhone 13 line, sales are already 21% higher, which is quite significant.
iPhone 15 is selling significantly better than its predecessors
Analysts also note an increasing bias towards more expensive models. True, they consider this indirectly – through the supply of panels for screens. Panel shipments for the iPhone 15 Pro models account for a higher share compared to the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro. From June to October, iPhone 15 Pro models accounted for 64% of all iPhone 15 models, compared to 54% for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 series.
As we remember from the iPhone 14 line, at first it was the iPhone 14 Pro Max that was the sales leader, and only after a while the basic version of the iPhone 14 topped sales. Whether the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be able to maintain the lead based on the results of the entire year of sales of the line is still anyone’s guess.
