Named battery capacity of all new smartphones
The iPhone 15 line of smartphones will be equipped with significantly larger batteries than its predecessors, while the iPhone 15 Pro will again be deprived – it will receive the smallest battery in the line. This was reported to IT Home by an employee of the Foxconn plant.
If the information is confirmed, then this year the battery capacity of the iPhone 15 series will increase much more than in the previous generation. The iPhone 15 will have 18% more battery capacity than the iPhone 14, the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro will have 14%, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have 12% more capacity than their predecessors, respectively.
iPhone 15 Pro will have the smallest battery in the entire line
It turns out that the iPhone 15 Plus should get the largest battery, and the iPhone 15 Pro, like last year, will be Apple’s smartphone with the smallest battery.
The iPhone 15 Pro is expected to use Apple’s new A17 chip based on TSMC’s 3nm process, which can improve performance while reducing power consumption by 35%. So the operating time of the smartphone without recharging should be very good.
In addition, a Foxconn employee said that the iPhone 15 Pro has the same design as the iPhone 14 Pro, a USB-C connector and at least 256 GB of flash memory.
