Apple may return to rounded edges again
Following rumors and insider information that the iPhone 15 Pro will get a new case design, the Chinese edition of Mydrivers has published realistic renderings that show what the upcoming flagship could look like
Earlier, an insider ShrimpApplePro, who leaked live photos of the iPhone 14 long before the announcement, said that the next Apple smartphone will receive an updated case and a back cover in the style of the iPhone 5c. According to him, the iPhone 15 will offer buyers a titanium case. In addition, instead of flat sharp edges, the smartphone will receive a rounded back panel.
Apple has been using flat surfaces and sharp edges for three years in a row, starting with the iPhone 12. Many manufacturers of Android smartphones have followed suit, but there are people who complain about this shape and claim that it is uncomfortable to hold the smartphone for a long time.
In addition, according to multiple sources, the iPhone 15 will also say goodbye to the Lightning interface and move to USB-C, although some believe that Lightning may remain on lower models. Even if all models get USB-C, only older models will have a fast connector.
The smartphone is also credited with a completely new image sensor and improved photo and video capabilities.
