Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition has all the air of being the equivalent designed for the Chinese market of Mi 10 Lite and will be presented very soon, on April 27, together with the new MIUI 12.

The device resembles in all respects, as mentioned, the Mi 10 Lite which was unveiled about a month ago, and which should arrive in our stores in Mayit is not clear if there will be any difference between the two beyond the name and colours with which the smartphone will be available, which in China will be more.

Specifically, in addition to the first three (in order: Pink Peach, Blue Berry and Black Storm) which are also intended for the western market, we also have the Green Tea shade, the Orange Storm shade and finally a last one, still to be revealed.

In terms of design, there seem to be no changes whatsoever, with the rear quad-cam grouped in a square module with rounded corners, a thin profile (with a thickness of 7.88 mm) and a full-screen front with drop notch for the selfie-cam.

The interesting thing is that the details that Xiaomi is communicating in reference to Mi 10 Youth Edition, such as those on the device screen published today on Weibo, intransitive properties in all probability become additional information on Mi 10 Lite. Xiaomi is about an AMOLED panel by 6.57 inches with accurate colours, a 1.1 ΔE value, support HDR10 + content and DC dimming in hardware.

Under the body, again, we find as on Mi 10 Lite the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor (which guarantees support for 5G ), LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.1 type memory, battery with 4.160 mAh capacity and 22.5 rapid charges W.

On the back, we find the photographic module consisting of a 48 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide one, a 5 MP macro and a 5X periscopic zoom, which with digital hybridization can reach up to 50X. At the moment, therefore, everything seems to testify in favour of the same device with two different names, depending on the reference market: but the presentation of Mi 10 Youth Edition has yet to be held, and therefore we cannot say it with absolute certainty.

Instead, it is certain that this device, just like Mi 10 Lite, was created to constitute a cheaper alternative (in Italy the price will start from 399 euros ) to the top range Mi 10 and 10 Pro: and what do you think? Are you convinced by the Xiaomi proposal for the mid-range?
