Toyota has published a roadmap for the next few years regarding electric vehicles.
On it, among other things, you can see that the company is going to release an electric sports car.
The cars shown in the picture will be on the market by 2026. When exactly the sports car will debut is unknown, but in any case it will happen in the next three years.
It could be a production version of the Lexus Electrified Sport concept
It is not yet clear whether the car will be released under the Toyota brand or will receive the Lexus nameplate. There is speculation that this may be a production version of the Lexus Electrified Sport concept, which will replace the LFA model.
For the concept at the time, Toyota claimed a range of 700 km and acceleration to 100 km / h in about 2 seconds, but this may have nothing to do with the characteristics of a production car.
