It doesn’t smell like pacifism: to get the canon ending in GTA V, you have to kill at least 726 people

User forum Reddit under the pseudonym of TK-576, shared the results of fan research on the minimum number of kills needed to Canonicity passing Grand Theft the Auto the V . Be careful. There are spoilers in the text.

The Grand Theft Auto series games are not meant to be completed without sacrifice, but TK-576 and his friends tried to avoid atrocities once again: not to crush passers-by, not to provoke the police.

Besides, enthusiasts went through stealth missions (if possible) and avoided fights/shootings as much as possible. In the case of endlessly appearing enemies, they were looking for a way to complete the section as soon as possible.

The desire of TK-576 and his comrades to complete GTA V with the minimum possible number of kills was broken by the condition of obtaining the canon ending, according to which all three main characters must survive by the end of the game.

In this regard, another 93 criminals, a corrupt policeman, and a mercenary had to be recorded at the expense of the trinity. There were 726 victims: 172 of them were Michael, 258 were Trevor, 295 were Franklin, and one more character was all three.

TK-576 admitted that the whole process (replay, recording, analysis) took the team about six months. The premiere of the video summarizing the study results was timed to coincide with the sixth anniversary of the release of the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V.

As noted by TK-576, the individual stats of Michael, Trevor, and Franklin are not that impressive: Max Payne (Max Payne series) and even Sam Fisher of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell blamed many more victims.
