This tequila is unlikely to be poured in bars
The announcement of the release of Teslakila, Tesla’s signature tequila, posted on Twitter by company CEO Elon Musk on April Fools’ Day was initially taken as a joke. But Musk didn’t seem to be joking at all. And the other day Tesla branded tequila appeared on the company’s official website.
It is not joke. Tesla really started selling tequila
The distinctively shaped bottle of drink (for a purely electric car company) changed its name from Teslaquilla to Tesla Tequila. The manufacturer describes the product as follows: “Introducing Tesla Tequila, an exclusive premium 100% agave tequila aged in French oak barrels, with dry fruits and a light vanilla aroma with a balanced cinnamon and pepper aftertaste.”
Tesla Tequila is not cheap alcohol. For one 750 ml bottle they ask for $ 250. That is why the drink is unlikely to be tasted at the bar. In addition, sales rates are limited to two bottles per person. Tesla Tequila will go on sale in the United States (and even then not in all states) at the very end of this year.
