Journalist Max Weinbach, one of the founders of XDA Developers, has revealed what flagship smartphones Samsung intends to introduce next year. It seems that the South Korean giant intends to revise the range of devices in the upper price range.
As has been reported many times, the presentation of the Galaxy S21 smartphones is expected in January. This series will include three devices – the base version of the Galaxy S21, as well as modifications to the Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
In addition, according to Max Weinbach, the Galaxy S21 FE will be released next year. Most likely, the presentation of this smartphone will take place in the second half of 2021.
Three more flagship devices will be equipped with flexible displays: the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Fold FE in book format, as well as the Galaxy Z Flip 3 clamshell smartphone.
Curiously, Galaxy Note devices are missing from the list. Thus, Max Weinbach once again confirms rumors that Samsung plans to abolish this series of devices due to the similarity with the older representatives of the Galaxy S family.
In addition, it is said that the three flagship Galaxy devices of the 2021 lineup will receive support for the proprietary S Pen. These will likely be the Galaxy S21 Ultra, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Fold FE.
