It will be presented in December
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko shared with journalists the latest news from the Belarusian automotive industry. During a trip to the Grodno region, Lukashenko announced that the first electric car will be presented in Belarus in the near future.
According to Lukashenko, the day before Deputy Prime Minister Pyotr Parkhomchik promised to surprise him. The President of Belarus said:
I say: have they really made an electric car? – Well, come, we’ll show you. So let’s wait. In the near future, in December, he said. But I know that they are making their own electric car.
“It’s good, people like it”: Lukashenko said that the first electric car is being made in Belarus
The head of Belarus also described the future new product in more detail:
The body will be like that of Geely. He’s good, people like him. Electric buses and so on, electric trams – we already have them, people buy them from us all over the world.
Apparently, we are talking about the further development of the model line of the Belarusian enterprise BelGee, which produces cars under the Geely license.
