“It’s Not What the Series Deserves”: Remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Receives Heavy Critics

On yesterday’s live broadcast of Ubisoft Forward, viewers were presented with a remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, which had already been featured on the Web. The announcement was accompanied by a trailer and a story from the developers about the project. The audience was not happy with what they saw, to put it mildly. They began to massively criticize the reissue, mainly for visual appearance.

The trailer for the remake of The Sands of Time on the official Ubisoft YouTube channel at the time of this writing has scored almost 80 thousand views. At the same time, he received 4.4 thousand dislikes and only 2.5 thousand likes. The ratio for the premiere of a remake of a game loved by many is terrible. A similar situation is observed under the trailer on the Russian channel Ubisoft: He was given 2.1 thousand dislikes and 1.2 thousand likes. The main criticism concerns graphics and especially the characters. Below are individual player comments.
