Judgment developers have published footage from the new game in the series – another week before the announcement

The Gematsu portal drew attention to the fact that shortly after the start of the countdown to “Doomsday,” the official Japanese microblogging detective action Judgment began to publish footage from what appears to be a new game in the series.

As a reminder, the teaser counts down the days, hours, minutes, and seconds until May 7 of the current year. On this day, a video entitled Judgment Day will premiere on the YouTube channel of the American Sega division.

Apparently, the developers are preparing a sequel or at least a new story in the world of Judgment. This theory is confirmed by the videos published by the Japanese microblog of the game.

The story doesn’t end there. In one of the short (6 to 11 seconds) excerpts, observant fans saw a teaser for the scene of the next part of Judgment.

As the journalists of the portal, The Tojo Dojo, noticed, the events of the new Judgment can unfold on the territory of the city of Yokohama, where the heroes of Yakuza: Like a Dragon led their adventures.

At the end of March, The Tojo Dojo portal, citing its own sources, reported that Judgment would receive a sequel: the detective Takayuki Yagami would allegedly remain the protagonist, but the game itself would be darker.

The western release of the original Judgment took place in June 2019 on PS4. The improved version of the game went on sale on April 23, 2021, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Google Stadia cloud service.
