Judgment developers launch a teaser site with a countdown to “Doomsday”

Sega publishing house and development studio Ryu Ga Gotoku launched a countdown to the announcement on the latter’s official website, apparently related to the detective action Judgment.

The aforementioned teaser counts down the days, hours, minutes, and seconds until the event called “Judgment Day,” which will take place on May 7 this year at 17:00 Moscow.

When the countdown ends, the video, also titled Judgment Day, will premiere. A player has already been prepared for him (attached below) on the official YouTube channel of the American division of Sega.

There is no doubt that “Doomsday” is related to Judgment: in addition to the roll-overs with the title in the frame with the preview of the upcoming video on the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio website, instead of a stub, when the page is refreshed, frames from the game flicker.

In short excerpts, the engine features characters familiar from Judgment, including the main character. Probably Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio are preparing a new release in the series.

The fact that Judgment will receive a sequel and what it will be told the journalists of the portal The Tojo Dojo, and a couple of days before that, Sega registered the Lost Judgment trademark in Japan.

The original Judgment debuted in December 2018 on PS4, but only in Japan, and was released in the rest of the world in June 2019. The improved version of the project went on sale today, April 23, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Google Stadia cloud service.
