KamAZ will create an analogue of the UAZ “Patriot”
It is not clear what kind of vehicles these will be, but, having enlisted the support of Gazprom and having some specific ideas about production volumes, it is easier to produce an SUV than if it were calculated exclusively for private consumers.
The bus will be used to transport employees on public roads to jobs located far from public transport infrastructure, and the SUV is planned to be used “to solve production problems in difficult areas.” KamAZ engineers will not only develop these vehicles, but will also test pilot samples.
Given the specifics of Gazprom, one can think that the KamAZ SUV will have outstanding geometric cross-country parameters – high ground clearance and large entry and exit angles. That is, it will be a kind of analogue of the UAZ “Patriot”, perhaps the most passable serial Russian SUV.
