2024 Kia EV9 Coming This Year, More Powerful Kia EV9 GT Coming Next Year

Kia has revealed the 2024 Kia EV9 lineup and confirmed that a high-performance model of a mid-size three-row SUV called the EV9 GT is also in development. The regular 2024 Kia EV9 will go on sale in the US in the second half of this year, while the GT version will launch in early 2025.

The Kia EV9 GT is expected to get the powerful twin-engine all-wheel drive transmission from the Kia EV6 GT. This model has a peak power output of 576 horsepower and 738 Nm of torque. The aforementioned Kia EV6 GT accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.

Kia EV9 GT Announced

While Kia increased available power in the Kia EV6 GT, the car retained a 77.4kWh battery pack, resulting in a reduced range of up to 330km. Therefore, it is expected that the Kia EV9 GT will also receive the shortest range in the EV9 family.

Kia has yet to announce the range of the 2024 EV9 GT-Line, which is powered by a 379bhp, all-wheel drive, twin-engine powertrain. with 700 Nm of torque. The car uses a 99.8 kWh battery, which should also appear in the Kia EV9 GT.
