Kia has announced the 2024 Sportage crossover in the US market. The car itself has not changed, but there are changes in terms of equipment and prices.

Firstly, absolutely all versions have risen in price by $ 800 (the increase in car prices is not an exclusively Russian “trick”). The base 2024 LX Sportage is now $28,415 and the top-end 2024 X-Pro Prestige is $39,251. At the same time, all versions in the US are equipped with a 2.5-liter engine and an 8-speed automatic. Is that the drive can be either front or full.
Secondly, now all Sportage 2024s have projector-type LED headlights, and airbags have also been added – they are now in the base in the back seat.
The Sportage is Kia’s most popular car in the US. In 2022, 125,245 crossovers were sold. For comparison, Kia’s second most popular model, the Forte, found 108,424 buyers last year.
