In the nine months of 2023, AvtoVAZ increased the production of cars and vehicle components by 15% compared to the results for the entire 2022. This led to the fact that the share of Lada cars in the new car market reached 37%.

Sokolov recalled that the plant’s production lines were stopped last spring, but they were restarted last summer. For the entire 2022, AvtoVAZ produced 220 thousand cars and vehicle kits, and the share of sales of Lada cars in the Russian market reached 27%.
“In the nine months of 2023, we produced 15% more vehicles and vehicle sets than in the entire year of 2022. Today we work at maximum speeds, with the highest labor productivity; every 26 seconds a new car rolls off the assembly line in Togliatti. And Lada’s share in the new car market has increased to 37%,” Sokolov said.
In 2023, more than 4.1 thousand people were employed at the enterprise, and the average salary over nine months increased by 39%. AvtoVAZ is also investing in updating the social infrastructure of Tolyatti, including modernizing the Lada Park ski resort and supporting sports clubs.
