AvtoVAZ sells more cars than it produces
Sales of AvtoVAZ in May of this year increased sharply compared to last May (almost 300%), as announced by the head of the company Maxim Sokolov at the conference “Digital Industry of Industrial Russia”.
In the last month of spring, the plant sold almost 24,000 cars, which is four times higher than the result of May last year. However, compared to April 2023, sales decreased by 13%.
For almost the entire May 2022, the AvtoVAZ plant was idle due to a shortage of components. In May 2023, the plant produced 21.5 thousand cars.
Lada sales in May 2023 were 300% higher than in May 2022
After the end of the corporate holiday, AvtoVAZ plans to continue producing cars on Saturdays, as reported by the insider public “Atypical AvtoVAZ” on the social network “VKontakte” .
