Lady Dimitrescu with her daughters at the new concept art of Resident Evil Village

Resident Evil Village Artistic Director Tomonori Takano spoke to IGN about the evolution of Alsina Dimitrescu’s daughters’ design and showed off some new concept art.

Recall that in February, Takano (also in conversation with journalists IGN) told about the sources of inspiration for the “disconcerting vampire” and its relation to the fans’ reaction to this character.

Earlier, Capcom revealed the height of Dumitrescu – 290 cm, taking into account the hat and high heels hidden under the skirt. Now the time has come for the size of her shoes – the length of the lady’s foot is 44 cm, which is almost double the statistical indicator among women.

According to Takano, they started prototyping Lady Dimitrescu with the model Mia from Resident Evil 7. Still, even in a dress and a hat, the girl was not frightening enough, so they decided to increase the character.

In addition to Alsina, her castle in the Resident Evil Village is inhabited by three daughters (from oldest to youngest): sensible Bela, sadist Cassandra, and insane Daniela. Initially, it was assumed that there would be about a hundred witches (and practically nude) on the estate, but the idea turned out to be overwhelming.

Inside the Dimitrescu estate, all the enemies that the protagonist will meet will be women: “Outside, in front of the castle, you see bodies like skinny stuffed animals with dried blood, and they are all men

The release of Resident Evil Village is expected on May 7 this year on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and S. Last week, Capcom first showed the gameplay of the game recorded on the PS4 Pro.
