The long-awaited feature of automatically deleted WhatsApp messages in the new beta version of the application 2.20.110 for Android is called Expiring Messages and has also been updated compared to the previous beta version.

It should be noted that this feature has been tested since last year, it was originally called “Disappearing Messages”. Now they have been renamed “Expiring Messages,” that is, messages whose display time in the chat is drawing to a close.
Previously, beta testers had the opportunity to select the “Delete messages” option and set the time interval: a message can be automatically deleted after 1 hour, day, week, month or a year later. Now fewer options are available: 1 day, week or month.
This beta also contains support for multiple devices. The team is currently working on a new feature that allows you to use the same account on different devices at the same time.
The exact release date for the final version of WhatsApp, which will make these functions available to all 2 billion users, has not yet been announced.
