Leak: Persona 5 Scramble Western Coming To Not Only Consoles But PC

A Twitter user under the pseudonym Wario64 drew attention to the fact that Atlus had published an announcement trailer for the western edition of Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers ahead of time.

The official version of the video on YouTube was quickly hidden, but users managed to save the video (you can download it here ) and take the necessary screenshots with evidence of the leak.

As expected, in the West, the name Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will be shortened to Persona 5 Strikers. In addition, the release date leaked two weeks ago was confirmed – February 23, 2021.

But the list of target platforms for release outside of Japan has changed: according to the information in the already deleted trailer, Persona 5 Strikers will go on sale not only for PS4 and Nintendo Switch but also for PC (Steam).

It is noteworthy that with the publication of the video, the stage of collecting pre-orders for Persona 5 Strikers was supposed to start (see screenshot above), but someone in Atlus was in a hurry.

According to Imran Khan, former senior editor at Game Informer, the Japanese publisher was exactly a week ahead of the curve. The game will probably be presented at The Game Awards 2020.

As a reminder, Persona 5 Strikers is an action-packed offshoot of Persona 5 in the Musou genre. In Japan, the game was released on February 20, but only in versions for PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
