Leak: PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 will require at least 70 GB of free space and will ship on two disks
CD Projekt RED studio has long revealed a lot of details of the PC version of Cyberpunk 2077 and even announced surprisingly democratic system requirements. But the developers only promised to show the console versions of the role-playing action movie in the near future. Meanwhile, there was a leak on the Web that revealed some details of the disc edition of the upcoming CDPR game for PS4. In particular, it became known how much space is needed to install the project on the PlayStation 4.
The mentioned data was shared by a user of the Reddit forum under the pseudonym Mikeymorphin. He first posted a photo with cards and balls in the style of the game. Apparently, these items will be used in promotions. And then Mikeymorphin shared snapshots of the physical edition of Cyberpunk 2077 for PlayStation 4. Thanks to this it became known that the project will be distributed on two Blu-ray discs. And to install it on PS4, you need at least 70 GB of free space. The size is impressive, but considering the open world of Cyberpunk 2077 and the number of mechanics, there is nothing to be surprised here. The PC version of the action role-playing movie, by the way, “weighs” about the same.
The pictures of Mikeymorphin also contain information about the gifts that come with the physical edition. However, the developers themselves talked about this earlier.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on December 10, 2020, on PC, PS4, Xbox One, GeForce Now, and Google Stadia. Later, there will be versions for the new Xbox and PlayStation 5.
