The Arab division of the Xbox ahead of time on its YouTube channel has published a release trailer for The Ancient Gods, Part One – the first part of a two-part story addition to DOOM Eternal.

The 1.5-minute video does not contain any critical spoilers but shows several locations, combat situations, and opponents from the upcoming expansion.

This add-on (this and the next) will unfold after the DOOM Eternal finale and, according to the game’s executive producer Marty Stratton, will mark the end of a storyline that began in DOOM (2016).

The official version of the video was blocked shortly after publication, so you have to be content with the amateur version (it can also be removed). The end of the video talks about the availability of DLC, while the release is expected only tomorrow.

Earlier it became known that in The Ancient Gods, Part One an analog of the Summoner from DOOM (2016) will appear, which will be able to move into other monsters, and the number of one-time Marauders on the screen will increase to two.

The music for the upcoming DOOM Eternal DLCs will be written by David Levy and Andrew Hulshult. From the services of the composer of the main game Mick Gordon (Mick Gordon), the developers refused due to the aggravation of business relations.

The Ancient Gods, Part One will be released tomorrow, October 20, on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. Despite its close plot connection with DOOM Eternal, the expansion will be on its own.
