As a reminder, Marvel’s Avengers was supposed to debut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S on their launch day, but Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics decided to postpone the premiere in order to focus on fixing the game itself.

According to 1C-Interest, Marvel’s Avengers will go on sale for the PlayStation 5 on February 16 this year. If the date is confirmed, it will most likely be relevant for the new Xbox consoles.

It is noteworthy that on February 16 the new release of the War Table news broadcast will take place. As part of the episode, the developers promised, among other things, to talk about the upgrade of Marvel’s Avengers for the current generation consoles.

Quite possibly Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are preparing a surprise for fans – the simultaneous announcement and release of Marvel’s Avengers on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.

In addition, on the upcoming broadcast, War Table is going to share the details of the new post-release hero – Hawke. The character was supposed to appear in Marvel’s Avengers late last fall, but the developers didn’t meet the deadline.

Marvel’s Avengers was released on September 4, 2020, on PC (Steam), PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. In two months after its release on the Valve service, the superhero action game has lost 96% of its players.
