Lenovo may discontinue production of Legion gaming smartphones. According to CNBeta, the company has already notified employees that it is disbanding this direction.
The source says that up to 100 people will be laid off. Whether all of these are members of the Legion team is unclear, but some may well move to other units.
Lenovo exits the gaming smartphone market
Smartphones from Motorola, which is owned by Lenovo, will not be affected. Officially, the company has not yet made any statements, but it should be noted that Lenovo itself has never really boasted about the achievements of its smartphone business. In addition, a few years ago, Lenovo already left the smartphone market altogether, although it then returned.
