A gaming Chromebook even sounds strange. Unfortunately, the project for truly gaming mobile PCs with Chrome OS and discrete graphics cards was canceled, and in this case, we have a product for cloud gaming. Any Chromebook will do this, of course, but the IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook Plus at least has a 120Hz screen. The only thing the new product has in common with full-fledged gaming PCs is the customizable RGB backlighting of the keyboard.
As for other characteristics, the new product received a 16-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a Core i3-1215U or Core i5-1235U processor, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of eMMC flash memory or SSD with a capacity of up to 512 GB, a slot for microSD, a pair of USB-C 3.2, a pair of USB 3.2. Autonomy is declared for up to 12 hours. Dimensions are 357 x 253 x 19.95 mm with a weight of 1.95 kg. You can buy such a gaming Chromebook for $550.
