Lenovo is preparing two Chromebooks on MediaTek processors
Lenovo will soon unveil two new Chromebooks powered by MediaTek processors. Lenovo IdeaPad 3 CB and IdeaPad Flex 3 CB were spotted on the company’s product reference site. They are expected to be announced shortly.
The IdeaPad 3 CB, model number 14M836, is an updated version of the model announced last year. He will receive a touchscreen Full HD display with a diagonal of 14 inches. The device is based on the MediaTek MT8183 chipset, which is also used in the Chromebook Duet tablet. The processor will work in conjunction with 4 GB of RAM. The storage capacity can be 32 GB or 64 GB. The device will receive a multifunctional USB-C port, used both for charging and for connecting an external monitor, a USB-A port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The laptop will boast 16 hours of battery life. The device will be available in blue and gray.
The IdeaPad Flex 3 CB will be based on the same platform, but the display, which will be able to unfold 360 degrees, will be 11 inches in HD resolution. The rest of the specs will be the same as on the IdeaPad 3 CB, including body colors.
