Lenovo has announced the Legion Slim 7i gaming-grade laptop, claiming to be the world’s lightest 15.6-inch laptop with NVIDIA GeForce RTX discrete graphics.

The novelty can be equipped with a Full HD display (1920 × 1080 pixels) with a refresh rate of 144 Hz or a 4K screen (3840 × 2160 pixels) with a refresh rate of 60 Hz. This is 100% coverage of the Adobe RGB color space. The maximum configuration includes a GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q video adapter.

The laptop is housed in an 18 mm thick aluminum case and weighs approximately 1.86 kg. A full-size backlit keyboard and a fairly large touchpad are provided.

The heart of the computer is the 10th Generation Intel Core Comet Lake processor. The maximum configuration provides for the use of the Core i9-10980HK chip with eight cores (up to 16 instruction streams) with a clock speed of 2.4-5.3 GHz.

The Legion Slim 7i can carry up to 32GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and up to 2TB of solid-state storage. There are Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless adapters, a fingerprint scanner, a Dolby Atmos audio system with two speakers, and a 720p webcam. The claimed battery life on one recharge of the battery reaches 7.5 hours.

The gaming laptop will go on sale in October starting at $ 1,329.
