Variants of Lenovo ThinkPad notebooks on AMD Ryzen 5000 are represented by 14-inch and 15.6-inch models L14 and L15, versions based on Intel processors are designated L14i and L15i and the same size, respectively. All new products offer three display options: a TN panel with 720p resolution, an IPS matrix with a 1080p resolution, or an IPS touch panel with a Full HD resolution.

All systems will offer up to 64GB of RAM, up to 1TB of a solid-state drive, and up to 2TB of the hard drive. Lenovo business laptops’ equipment depends on the platform chosen and can consist of two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Type-C, one Thunderbolt 4, one HDMI 2.0, combined audio, one LAN, and a slot for microSD memory cards.

11th Gen Intel Core laptops use Intel Xe integrated graphics as the graphics subsystem. A discrete graphics accelerator NVIDIA GeForce MX450 is offered as an option. Notebook versions based on AMD chips only offer integrated Radeon Vega graphics.

Wireless capabilities of the systems are provided by support for the Wi-Fi 6 standard. If desired, laptops can be equipped with LTE modules. Interestingly, according to Lenovo, models based on AMD chips are ready to offer up to 75% longer battery life – 14 hours versus 8 for models based on Intel Tiger Lake-U processors. In practice, the difference in autonomy is unlikely to be so significant since all models are equipped with the same 45 Wh battery.
